Adopt a Volunteer Refugee Teacher in Indonesia

A growing population of refugees is in transition countries where they have no right to work, and their children have no access to education. In Indonesia, the refugees themselves set up schools (called learning centers) where the staff and teachers, who are refugees, volunteer their time.

 

With US$38 per month, you can positively impact the lives of 20 children who have no right to education. Furthermore, these monthly contributions can cover the volunteer teachers’ travel expenses and meal allowance. Therefore, these teachers can better devote their effort and attention to educating the next generation if their basic needs are met.
